Evaluating the Usability of Aggregated Datasets in the GIS4EU Project

This article discusses the GIS4EU project and the usability tests the authors conducted on the new database to determine it's effectiveness. The GIS4EU project compiled data from over 20 countries in various formats into one database for all of Europe. Once the data base was completed, the authors tested it using the following four stages to define spatial data usability.

1, Identification of elements of usability.
2, Defining elements of usability
3, Designing tests.
4, Refining spider diagrams and definitions.
